Welcome to Hungary Creek Recreation Association! Established over fifty years ago, we continue offer one of the best recreational facilities in the area for families to enjoy throughout the summer - whether swimming, playing tennis, sand volleyball, basketball, or just enjoying the fresh air, sun and friends at the pool.

  • Two large pools plus wading pool for small children

  • Diving board (adjustable)

  • HCRA Marlins Swim Team (Greater Richmond Aquatic League)

  • HCRA Marlins Dive Team (James River League)

  • Reserved lanes for lap swimmers

  • Certified lifeguards

  • Four Tennis courts (two are lighted); Two Pickleball courts

  • Swim and Tennis lessons for a minimal fee

  • Planned adult parties, youth parties, and family nights

  • Concession stand - hot food (accepts credit cards)

  • Picnic area with shelter, grills, and tables

  • Play area with swings

  • Basketball court

  • Lighted sand volleyball court

  • Limit on membership of 500 families

Swim Lessons
Hungary Creek is dedicated to teaching children to swim confidently and safely. Our HCRA instructors are also Red Cross certified lifeguards.
Social Events all Summer
The HCRA community hosts a variety of events for members throughout the summer. From Adult-only socials to pre-teen events to Float nights, there's something for everyone at Hungary Creek.
